Every year, May 22 is known as World Preeclampsia Day. This day was first held in the year 2017, The month-long campaign aims to generate widespread awareness about Pre-eclampsia - a serious, life-threatening complication of pregnancy. Walk around the city of Vancouver, BC, Canada on May 22 evening and you may notice that some iconic buildings lit up in orange.

We join together to support and raise awareness of preeclampsia and its global impact on the lives of mothers, babies and families.
